We are by nature goal seeking creatures.
Your brain is constantly trying to align what you are sensing and thinking in your inner world with the outer world. Once you instruct your brain to look for what you want, you will start to see them. The same is true for things you don’t want.
There is so much sensory information all around us that the brain limits overload by enabling us to see, hear, feel etc only what we are focused on.
So, when you looking at your goals, you have to give your brain something to focus and look for - a new set of eyes - to see all the circumstances, people and situations, conversations, resources, creativity etc., so you can match up what you want on the inside with what you want on the outside.
Having goals gives you vision, focus and direction.
